What is in the free schedule cards set
The file has 50 pages, and every page holds three cards. Each card is a wide, short strip with a thin double border and a word in big lettering, where every letter is a different color: pink, orange, yellow, teal or purple.
The first 38 pages are the words, in 19 pairs: one page in English and the page next to it in Spanish, with the same three words in the same order. The last 12 pages are blank cards. You can print one language, both, or only the blanks.

Before you print
The free file is 50 pages on US Letter paper, turned sideways (landscape). Print only the pages you need.
- English and Spanish word pages: pages 1 to 38, in 19 pairs, 57 words in each language.
- Blank cards: pages 39 to 50, 36 cards, three to a page.
- To print one language, print the odd pages for English and the even pages for Spanish, but look at pages 5 and 6 first: that pair is the other way around.
- Every card is about 10.5 by 2.5 inches, so the English, Spanish and blank cards all match in size.
How the pages pair up: English on page 1, Spanish on page 2
The words come in pairs of pages. Page 1 holds OUR DAY, SCHEDULE and PARTY. Page 2 holds the Spanish for each card, in the same order: NUESTRO DÍA, HORARIO and FIESTA. Page 3 is English again (RECESS, ART and MUSIC), page 4 is Spanish (RECREO, ARTE and MÚSICA), and it goes on that way through page 38.

The Spanish pages: NUESTRO DÍA, HORARIO and FIESTA
Page 2 is the Spanish page for page 1. Put an English card and its Spanish card side by side and students see both words for the same part of the day. The pairs that follow cover school subjects, such as LENGUA, MATEMÁTICAS and CIENCIAS on page 8, and times of the day, such as CALENDARIO on page 12 and ALMUERZO on page 14.

Pages 5 and 6 go the other way around
Most pairs start with the English page, but the pair on pages 5 and 6 starts with Spanish. Page 5 has EDUCACIÓN FÍSICA, BIBLIOTECA and ASAMBLEA, and page 6 has the English, P.E., LIBRARY and ASSEMBLY. Odd pages are English and even pages are Spanish everywhere except this one pair, so check it before you print one language.

Longer words fit on one card
Long words and short words all fit the same card size. Page 20 has MOSTRAR Y COMPARTIR, LECTURA INDEPENDIENTE and HABILIDADES SOCIALES, the Spanish for SHOW & TELL, INDEPENDENT READING and SOCIAL SKILLS. The lettering gets smaller to fit, and the border stays the same.

Blank classroom schedule cards: pages 39 to 50
The last 12 pages are blank cards, 36 in all, with the same double border and nothing inside. Use them for any part of your day that is not in the set.
